1. What areas do you service?
We primarily serve Duval County, FL.
Travel fees may apply outside this area.
⚠️ Junk removal is not available in Nassau County due to permit rules.
2. Do you require deposits?
Yes.
25% for jobs over $300
50% for jobs over $800
Deposits are non-refundable, but transferable with 24+ hours’ notice (must be used within 30 days).
3. How do you price your services?
Each job is individually quoted based on scope, time, difficulty, and access.
Standard loads – dump fees included in the quote
Heavy/dense materials (concrete, brick, dirt, gravel, mixed debris) – billed separately by dump ticket + transport fee
Multiple dump runs – billed separately at standard transport rates
4. What payment methods do you accept?

We also offer card-on-file billing with signed authorization.
5. Do you offer weekly lawn service?
Our standard schedule is biweekly maintenance. Weekly service may be available for select properties at a negotiated rate.
6. Do you weed landscaped beds?
Weed eating in landscaped beds is not standard and is only included if quoted.
Pet Waste Policy: Service areas must be free of pet waste prior to arrival. Cleanup is $10 per pile; excessive waste may result in service refusal for that area.
For ongoing weed control, we recommend retail products or a licensed pest control service.
7. Do I need to be home for service?
No — as long as we have access (including gate codes and water spigot for pressure washing).
⚠️ If delayed more than 15 minutes due to locked gates, unsafe pets, or blocked areas, a waiting time fee may apply.
8. What’s your pressure washing policy?
Client must provide a working water spigot with adequate pressure
Not responsible for pre-existing damage, loose paint, oxidation, or permanent stains
Some stains (oil, rust, deep mildew) may require a separate quote for specialized treatment
9. What happens to the junk you remove?
All removed items become property of DZ Junk Hawlers LLC unless agreed otherwise in writing. We recycle, donate, or dispose responsibly.
Hazardous & Special Disposal Policy: No hazardous waste (chemicals, fuels, asbestos, paints, medical). Certain items (appliances, mattresses, tires, electronics) may require special handling and carry extra fees (disclosed in advance).
10. Do you work indoors?
Yes — we provide indoor junk removal and cleanouts when safe and legally permissible.
We do not perform interior cleaning (mopping, scrubbing, dusting) but can refer you to trusted partners.
11. What’s your cancellation policy?
Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may result in a fee or deposit forfeiture
Weather delays may require rescheduling at our discretion
12. Are you licensed and insured?
We are fully insured and operate within all legal limits that do not require specialty licensing.
